Betrayal of trust or faith; treachery. violation of the allegiance owed to one’s sovereign or state; betrayal of one’s country.

Not correct. You have to prosecute with the criminal statute, not the dictionary definition. Even sedition is a stretch. Read both here: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/part-I/chapter-115
