Obama is a newbie president, and citizen-journalists and others were still questioning his provenance.
Some have noticed that his so-called biography includes his adoption by Soetoro, in the course of which he took the name Barry Soetoro; but no one has ever produced any documentation that he ever legally changed his last name back to Obama.
Questions about why he had to take his swearing-in oath twice (two times) have fueled all sorts of speculations. This may relate to the questions asked the first time.
By Feb. 21, 2009, uncomfortable questions were raised that caused SOMEONE enough concern to email Cheryl Mills for suggestions on how to handle them. She waited 27 days to ask Hillary for har own advice.

Cheryl waiting a few weeks tells us it wasn’t a breaking news story that a reporter was sitting on that she needed to address the moment she heard of it. But by the morning of March 19th, Cheryl started to feel it was important enough for her to call for a PR “swat team” -— though still not important enough for Hillary to need to involve herself with, if she felt Cheryl could attend to it herself.
The only adoption I know that could have possibly interested the Obama Administration was John Roberts’.
