The next thing to look for in this scandal is evidence that the information gathered by the FBI through the wiretapping was funneled back to the Clinton campaign and/or the DNC.

After the election, the spying on Trump continued. At that point, Clinton was irrelevant. The purpose was to submarine his presidency.

We already know information went in the other direction, disinformation from Clinton / DNC was used by the FBI. There's little doubt the conversations were bidirectional. What would be even more interesting is if the FBI began illegally spying on the Trump team in July before they got the warrant in October. In April 2017 the Washington Post said the FBI began surveilling Page in July of 2016. That was when their alleged first attempt for a warrant was allegedly rejected.
Clinton allies also set up some of the "Trump campaign Russia" meetings like the one with the lawyer. She collected the dirt from those.

You all know what you have to do.
-If approached by the FBI to not talk to them about ANYTHING. Deprive them of all information. They’re only going to try and trip you up for a process crime anyhow.
-If seated on a jury and any of the evidence was touched by the FBI in any way, vote to acquit.
By making them totally ineffective we can put them out of business.
