You make an interesting point.
The top dozen cabal members have been exposed. We know that they conspired to use every weapon of the federal government to spy on the opposition campaign. We know the democrat party was in on it at the highest levels. We know the press was and is cheerleading for this operation.
So, where is the outrage? Where are the resignations? Where are the indictments and arrests? Why hasn't the duped FISA judge hauled the perps back into court for contempt hearings?
Except for the role of the media, Watergate pretty much unfolded like this. The perps delayed and denied, until one summer day, after he had lost all of his political support, Mr. Big resigned. Ford pardoned him and it was all over. This time around Mr. or Ms. Big doesn't hold office.
I'm not sure how this ends, but we are in early days.
