This has happened before with Saudi Arabia, except it came directly from the boss the time that I recall.

During the Gulf War, Saddam fired SCUD missiles into Saudi Arabia, and Yassar Arafat supported it. The Saudi King said on television “Saddam fired missiles at my children, and the Palestinians cheered. The Palestinians can go to hell.”

The next day, every Palestinian in the Kingdom awoke to find themselves being screwed by every official of the Government, in every way they could conceive. Saudi Arabia is a strict Police State - they turn on a dime when the Party Line changes.
