They concealed evidence and deceived a Federal Judge....that’s ‘obstruction of justice’, which is ‘a felony’ under federal law.
....”willfully” interfering with the process of justice and law especially by influencing, threatening, harming, or impeding a witness, potential witness, juror, or judicial or legal officer or by furnishing false information in or otherwise impeding an investigation or legal process.”
“Misleading conduct” ....may consist of deliberate lies or “material omissions” (leaving out facts which are crucial to a case). It may also include knowingly submitting or inviting a judge or jury to rely on false or misleading physical evidence.
But Contreras was not BOTHERED by the lies and deception to get his warrant. Therefore, this is a victimless crime. /S
Fraud on the Court is even worse. Judge, before whom and to whom the fraud was committed is judge and jury on deciding punishment.
