Will this stop Mueller? According to an article in The New York Times two or three days ago, he's still digging into the conversation Don Jr. and Jared had with the Russian lawyer as if he hopes to find something there to use against President Trump.
Mueller is also trying to make a case that Trump's firing of Comey equals obstruction of justice--the memo proves that Comey was dirty, but Mueller could pretend that that is irrelevant, that Trump had no reason at the time to suspect that of Comey, and that he fired him to stop the Russia investigation. But at this point even the mainstream media may not be able to get a majority of the public to believe any of that.
Mueller's done; as you surmise, there's no way to slice that thin enough to parse it to the public, even though he could probably get a bill through an Amish DC GJ.
Any attempt to do so invites the ugly spectacle of both Comey and Mueller as witnesses to TESTIFY in the OPEN before CONGRESS ... and the moment either one of them reference Clinton, and then, Bobo ... thus ensuring both are subpoena'd ...
