The idea that the bureau and assorted intel agencies can use power given them by the executive and congressional branches to stop anyone in their way is apparently accepted in D.C. Robinson isn’t speaking here of the rule of law or equal justice. He’s speaking of raw power.
It’s a crisis alright, but not, as Leon Panetta said today, a “constitutional crisis”, but one of tyrannical rule by some agencies designed to protect us. They have become our enemy. They despise the citizen.
A great system they have going. They can break the law, and then classify the evidence of their crimes. Sorry, “small people,” we can’t divulge classified info.
And fools like Robinson think that’s just swell in a constitutional republic.
