Why send it back to the House?
He has it, he can release it.
I hope he has kept copies of all the various changes to the memo
And the original that he got in the first place.
It’s the Committee’s document.
Pres. has five days to approve/disapprove.
Goes back to Committee to either release (approved) or take to House for override vote (disapprove).
That is not the process laid out in the law. Please try to be accurate.
The memo can be blocked from release by the executive, subject to congressional overrule. The law specifically says that legislative work product must be released by the legislature.
