Whats the point of releasing it then?Congress naming individuals does nothing to advance indicting, trying, convicting, or punishing the guilty.
Nothing.
I get it that everybody wants to know, now, but I think this was a trap which Trump just evaded, and kind of skillfully, too.

Congress naming individuals does nothing to advance indicting, trying, convicting, or punishing the guilty. Nothing.Do you think that it's a secret court that will indict. One indicts NAMED individuals. Hiding their names does nothing good, and it only decreases the pressure upon the foot-dragging DOJ to indict.

You are partially correct. All the capering going on around here thinking 4 pages of text is some kind of super weapon that is going to send everyone to jail has me shaking my head. The "memo" is nothing but an executive summary/table of contents for the critical intel itself. I've compiled, organized and written a lot of stuff just like this - it's a total nothingburger without the accompanying intel - like having a book with an introduction/foreword & table of contents, but nothing else. If the memo only comes out by itself with no accompanying intel (evidence), it'll get savaged and dismissed by the media in short order. However, that may be part of the plan - let the various guilty parties and their sycophants run themselves out on a limb, then boom, the intel drops. Trapped like rats, let the meltdowns begin.
