As I said previously, if he caves to Wray, it’s going to cost him a LOT of votes, including mine. And I don’t particularly give a shit what else he accomplishes. What the FBI, DOJ, elements of other departments and agencies have done amounts to nothing short of sedition and treason - and yes, they are different. Too many people - here on FR and elsewhere - seem to think that this level of misconduct and abuse is a one-off event. It isn’t and it’s gotten worse over the course of my lifetime. Federal bureaucrats need to be held accountable.
Absolutely. Power without accountability is fertilizer for tyranny. Like you, I understand that this is not even an unusual occurrence. The rot is deep and pervasive at all layers. I'd like to see someone actually have to pay a price for once.
