Here, in the western U.S.A., we worry about North Korea and the possibility of them being able to loft ICBM missiles at us - a future threat that North Korea has yet to perfect and may never take place.

I can't imagine the prospect of "an arsenal with at least 100,000 short-range rockets and several thousand more missiles" right on the border of Israel, that can reach central Israel. These will be used, with certainty by madmen against Israel. Yikes! I also can't imagine how this threat will be dealt with. For Israel to survive, they must someday invade Lebanon. Caught between a rock and a hard place, what with the U.N. stooges waiting to condemn Israel for the slightest self-defense move.

Yes, at some point they'll have to be dealt with. Not with Iron Dome, interceptors. On the ground, killing the terrorists and driving Iran out. Whether Lebanon, who harbors them likes it or not.

As to your concerns about North Korea, real ones, I doubt we'll talk them out of their nukes. Or can afford to buy them out. Same solution, unfortunately. At a far greater price than a decade or two ago.
