Judge Rudolph Contreras handled the case when Flynn entered a plea deal on Dec 1. The case was reassigned to Judge Emmet G. Sullivan on December 7. The courts said it was a “random reassignment,” which is like invoking “state secret” or “classified.” In other words, somebody is dirty, and the institution won’t come clean of it’s own volition.
OK, which adds to my information (can’t even keep up with all this!) but my initial question was which judge at the FISA court recused him/herself, or did I misread that?
My attorney-spouse who’s practiced in DC for @ 50 years absolutely respects Judge Sullivan as an honorable man, and has since he was on the DC Superior Court. He’s now a “Senior” (semi-retired) judge as I recall.
