My oldest friend lives in London, so we used to go over a lot. I fear that my travel days are long gone, as well. :-(
I'm in the same boat as you. Too old to be dragging a heavy suitcase around...and then there's the shortage of money. Glad I went when I did...twice. Get my fix of seeing the sites by downloading programs from British torrent sites. It's the next best thing to being there.
