Most of the infrastructure is owned by the states. The feds should have no role. If the States want their bridges and roads to crumble, that’s their problem. Maybe they should reprioritize how their state taxes get spent to fix their infrastructure first before wasting it liberal feel-good pablum.

My ENTIRE adult life I’ve heard about “crumbling infrastructure” (and imI’ve heard the boy cry “Wolf” about 10,000 times too often. Yet, in the past 50 years we’ve had only a couple of bridges, dams, and levees fail. If it is all crumbling so badly, we would have massive disasters a couple times a week.

You are being sold a bill of goods and should be more skeptical. This is a $1.5 TRILLION payoff to the Dems and their unions, no better than the damnable Obama “stimulus.”

REALLY? Have you spent any time ever bothering to check into how many of the public works in your town are failing or downright dangerous?

There are tons of things in my town and county that have just been patched up for decades, waiting for the time they might actually get fixed somehow.

And the jobs created fixing this stuff could set a lot of kids along the right path.

State funding is fine, more power to it, but especially in depressed-income states, a little fed help wouldn’t hurt.

Do you also rail against federal help for fire or flood-damaged areas?
