The thing is, the trap didn't work as planned. DonJr thought he was getting dirt on Hillary, but all the lawyer wanted to talk about was Mysiski(sp) Act. More than likely trying to trap him into saying he would talk to his Father about changing it. Thus showing Russian influence. But Jr was not interested and left the meeting within a few minutes.

It makes sense now to me why Hillary and the Press made such a big deal about it. It helped them get more FISA warrants. So in that case it was a successful sting.
