Jordan should replace the intransigent PLO as Israel's negotiating partner and end the conflict.
The Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) threat to refuse to negotiate with Israel unless President Trump withdraws his recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel could see Jordan replacing the PLO as Israels negotiating partner to end the 100 years-old Arab-Jewish conflict.
This threat unless unconditionally revoked would give Trump the opportunity to consign the PLO to the political wilderness by inviting Jordan to step in and negotiate with Israel over Trumps eagerly-anticipated ultimate deal.
Jordan-Israel negotiations might offer Jordan the opportunity to recover part of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) annexed by Jordan in 1950 albeit illegally but subsequently lost to Israel in the 1967 Six Day War (legally termed disputed territory).
Should Jordan buck at entering into such negotiations some 60% of the disputed territory - under Israels full administrative and security control since the 1995 Oslo Accords and containing just 5% of the West Banks entire Arab population (Area C) - could be annexed by Israel.
PLO-Israel negotiations over the last twenty-five years with United Nations, UNESCO and European Union backing aimed at creating a 22nd Arab state in the disputed territory for the first time ever in recorded history - have failed abysmally.
Such a State was an artificially-contrived creation that could never be justified on historic, geographic or demographic grounds. It had actually been rejected by successive Arab leaderships on many occasions since first being proposed by the 1937 Peel Commission.

Negotiating with terrorists is folly.
This may be the beginning of what should have been concluded after the 1967 war; return to Jordan parts of Judea and Samaria for a full Israel-Jordan peace treaty.
Jordan is in population and history the true 2nd state in the division of the former British Mandate of Palestine into a homeland for Jews (Israel) and an Arab state (Jordan).
Next, Trump should encourage Egypt and Israel to take similar measures to secure Gaza under an extension of their peace treaty. That task should include some initial period of years of joint Egypt-Israel administration of Gaza and an Egyptian citizenship plan for the Gaza residents.
I guess Abbas took Trump’s threat of withholding funds seriously. Only thing that would motivate this murderous piece of fecal matter to do this. But Gaza should be returned to Israel. No reason to harbor a viper in one’s breast. Take the Palescumians there and dump them from a plane over some Arab country.
The Arab countries should absorb Arab refugees from their wars against Israel, just as Israel takes in Jewish refugees from around the world.
Israel has given away too much of its land already.

The last thing Jordan wants is more Palestinians. They've been stripping those Palestinians that have citizenship for over 20 years.
They tried that once and it became a war of the refugee camps vs the Jordanians. Then they moved to Lebanon and same thing happened, then they kicked Arafart to Africa and somehow he gets a noble for murdering his own people and so many others. Some of the worst people on the planets brainwashed to hate from Abbas and their islamic hate cult. Hell with them. They made their bed a long time ago, they haven’t changed not has their proclamation to wipe every Jew in tot he sea.
“The last thing Jordan wants is more Palestinians.”
Maybe some can go to the fabled Golden City of Neom...
The Palestinians have been a toxic demographic bomb (in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Israel), because of the overwhelming political agitation and corrupt leadership that they are subjected to.
That is the root cause that must be addressed to make Palestinians assimilable.
