I just love it when people refuse to read beyond the headline.
The media is running a two pronged attack here. The headline writers are picking up on the “path for citizenship” hoping that Conservatives won’t read any further.
The Slimes rehashed this as a cynical attempt that really doesn’t mean anything:
“President Trump proposed legislation on Thursday that would provides a path to citizenship for as many as 1.8 million young, undocumented immigrants in exchange for an end to decades of family-based migration policies, a massive border wall and a vast crackdown on other illegal immigrants already living in the country. Describing the plan as extremely generous but a take-it-or-leave-it proposal by the president, White House officials said they hoped it will be embraced by conservatives and centrists in Congress as the first step in an even broader effort to fix the nations broken immigration system. But the plan drafted by Stephen Miller, the presidents hard-line domestic policy adviser and John F. Kelly, the White House chief of staff was immediately rejected by Democrats, pro-immigration activists and some Republicans, with some describing it as nothing but a heartless attempt to rid the country of immigrants and slam shut the nations borders.”
People need to learn that headline writers are the footsoldiers of the propagandists. They use the headlines because most people are too stupid to read more than a sentence.
Calmer heads would actually investigate the details rather than reacting and eating what the media is serving without question.
I dont believe anything until february 8. I have faith in DJT.
Someone tell Levin because he is about to have a stroke.
Thank you!
According to the fine print, you cannot put a happy face on this plan. It is amnesty before border is secured and depends on future Congresses to secure. Ten to twelve years? That won’t last long. Even House members had a better plan than this.
Trump will lose the November election with this plan, and face impeachment and removal next year.
He campaigned hard against such a plan.
