Not really ... we have a pretty good opioid epidemic going on in this country thanks to our porous border. A wall makes it harder (not impossible of course) to get that garbage into the country.

The cynic in me thinks all of the opposition to the wall is due to recipients of drug cartel ‘plata’.

I get part of what you are saying ... but I don’t think it’s wasted money ... a wall would help a lot more than it will hurt. There are large gaps where it is quite easy to enter the country that can’t be patrolled full time ... that’s where a wall shines.

So we are building a wall around the east coast, gulf States, West Coast, Canada, and Alaska. Good to know, you do realize that tunnels are effective, bribery is effective, under-the-table- dealings are effective, a future Congress/Administration “tearing down those walls” are effective, airplanes are effective, speed boats are effective, mules are effective, globalism/trade is effective. (China is very ingenious in the importation of Fentanyl)
