Damn, damn, DAMN.
Fear not, Mom...I think it will be released by early next week. :)
Jesus Christ.
“Stephen Boyd, the assistant attorney general for legislative affairs, wrote that it would be extraordinarily reckless for the Committee to disclose such information publicly without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum and to advise the HPSCI [the House intelligence committee] of the risk of harm to national security and to ongoing investigations that could come from public release.
So the next question is: Did Sessions give Boyd permission to release this statement, or is Boyd an obuma holdover trying to muck up the works?
Sessions needs to don his Big Boy pants and fire Boyd, or Trump needs to sh*tcan Sessions.
In reply to the DOJ “warning” letter, a rather stout comeback about the oversight duties over the agency. They in fact, because of what they have learned- do not TRUST the FBI or DOJ, because of the ongoing false Mueller investigation, and because of the obvious false actions of the RINO/GOPe “republican” actors still in the deep state preserving their status quo. This is in the Examiner piece:
“The intelligence panel’s majority party shot back, saying it would be irregular for agencies under investigation by lawmakers to gain access to their documents.
Agencies that are under investigation by congressional committees dont typically get access to the committees investigative documents about them, and its no surprise these agencies dont want the abuses weve found to be made public,” said Jack Langer, a spokesman for Nunes.
Republican lawmakers have rallied around the four-page memo in recent days, having described it as shocking and alarming.
I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., said last week.
Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee are preparing their own memo in response to Nunes’s memo, ranking member Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said Wednesday. -—end-—
Well then, Jeff, if I were you I would defend the integrity of my agency by resigning if this memo is released. It is what any man of honor would do if he felt as strongly as you do about keeping the American people in the dark.
Thank you for finding that. And your’re right... DAMN!
My reply was supposed to be the #$%@! emoji - not sure why a square is now showing.
