People are complex enough there can be several to many motivations for that specific behavior.
There MAY be some degree of a TENDENCY in the direction you assert--in terms of group statistics. But that is only measurable with any clarity in group statistics. When one tries to apply it to a given individual, it is very risky and may not be more accurate than chance.
If it had just been one Q-believer, I’d have never drawn the conclusion. But it was one after another after another after another. I lost track of how many excuses there were for not presenting facts. I also lost track of the insults and ad hominems. I only know the latter were used in lieu of rational argumentation.
