California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall that companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state.
A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento, and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle-class families.

You cant make this stuff up.
I moved to Alabama from mexifornia 7months ago (thank G_d almighty). So now I have a job as an applications engineer that I could have never got in Cali. Absolutely love this job and its perfect for my manufacturing background. And oh yeah....a major manufacturer (cant say who)is pulling work back from $hithole china AND $hithole mexico.
So....a coworker said “people in California are supposed to be smart and think everyone out here (in Alabama) are dumb rednecks”. I told him....’man...people in california have to be the dumbest people in the country to not only put up with the government there but they actually think that EVERYONE else is wrong’. California laws are messed up from the democrat representatives to the governor to the AG to the traffic laws to the gas prices.....Tesoro, Valero, and Chevron SCREW the people of california and people seem to just take it....to housing prices to immigration policies to hollywood nut jobs....
ugh. Please, please, please do not go to california unless you are going there to vote republican. Then promptly LEAVE!

Dr “Progressive” has identified the symptoms, but is still struggling with the diagnosis of the disease !
That would be called a “loophole”, but it really isn’t. It’s called good navigation. There are many sandbars in the Mississippi; but a riverboat captain worth his salt learns to chart a new course each time the sands shift. No use running aground when there are ways to be found to go around the obstacles.
Venezuela on the Pacific.
California will run out of other peoples money in 5,4,3......
CA must have as many Wesley Mouches now as lawyers.
