WASHINGTON California will take the next step in blurring the lines between citizens and non-citizens beginning April Fools Day when the state complies with a court order to begin automatically registering to vote all those who are granted drivers licenses.
The state has long provided drivers licenses to all who simply claimed, without proof, that they were citizens of in the country legally. There were no checks made or documentation required.
But beginning April 1 every person who gets a California drivers license will be automatically entitled to vote.

Disenfranchised legitimate voters should sue, to say the least.
Kalifornia, secede already.
That will help them consolidate their statewide monopoly but won’t affect the presidential election.
Let them stew in their swill.
Refuse to certify any votes from California until they stop this.
Another day another act of treason by the Treason party.
This is way beyond voter disenfranchisement.
And when CA goes from 46th in voter registration to top 5 due to this automatic registration...many more of CA's 53 seats in the House of Reps will go (D). This affects the entire nation.
Think this assault on citizens stops with CA? Not a chance.
And Demonrats want to switch to popular vote tallies for elections?
Hmm, I wonder why.
California is in a state of secession and should be treated as a clear and present danger to the USA.
Trump and Sessions has to stop this also!! The evil that has been allowed to gain momentum has to be stopped! We have a constitution they are trampling underfoot... the constitution is the only thing that holds us together and keeps us from being a 3rd world piece of land that runs on a dictator with the people being servants. They are not the power that be... our President is.. and the constitution is what we live by.
Okay, and if they actually vote, charge them, convict them, jail, and then deport them.
THIS IS WHAT THE BATTLE OVER ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS ALL ABOUT! ALWAYS HAS BEEN!
Sick!
Let them vote in state and local elections all they want. But if there’s a federal office on the ballot, then FEDERAL standards apply, not the invader-friendly California versions, which are no standards at all.
Everyone is misunderstanding this. Yes, everyone will be automatically registered to vote when they get a driver’s license, but there is an ‘opt out’ provision. Naturally, law-abiding illegals (wait a minute, what?) will opt out. So there’s no problem here.
Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence. If this doesn't violate the guarantee of a republican form of government, I don't know what does.
How does California prevent a non-citizen from voting in a Presidential election?
Only Congress can determine who gets the right to vote, not the states.
Clearly unconstitutional, a usurpation of powers granted to the U.S. govt. outlined in the U.S. Constitution
Amendment 14 - Citizenship Rights. Ratified 7/9/1868.
But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of
the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members
of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age,
and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except...
Amendment 15 - Race No Bar to Vote. Ratified 2/3/1870. H
1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
“Ratified on August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution granted American women the right to votea right known as woman suffrage. At the time the U.S. was founded, its female citizens did not share all of the same rights as men, including the right to vote.”
So they are also on juries then?
