I once was supposed to get help from a gay guy to set up a meeting and he was a no-show until all the work was already done - his excuse? His family had shown up for an impromptu birthday celebration and he didn't even bother to call that he would be very late. Then he was like a child when he finally showed up, all he could say was, “They brought me a cake!!” This was a man in his 50’s.
