A congressman’s salary is what comes through the front door, but the really big bucks come through the back door. It’s how they all mysteriously get rich.
There’s also the side door. They know which companies to invest in because they know the restrictions and loopholes they’ve written. In the private sector, this is known as “insider trading”. In the government sector, this is known as, “coincidence”.
