I have read some dandys in my time but you just took the cake for the most ignorant (being nice here) post I have ever read on Free Republic.
Early in my career, I went to a client meeting in which the new CEO of my client (a public company) was introduced to senior management.
In his opening statement he asked:
"Who owns this company?"Those in the room nodded and looked at each other. The new CEO continued..."Our shareholders, right?"
So who owns Free Republic...every one who cares about it and us and our goals and our love of country."No."
"Everyone who is at risk for our success, everyone who supports us...they are our owners."
"And most importantly, our customers are our owners."
"If we take care of our customers, they will take care of us."
