‘People should have to re-apply for The Disability(SSI) every 5 years.’

Absolutely! Particularly since so many today’s jobs require little to no physical effort. In five years a High School graduate could get a Masters in a non physical field.

The entire Obama presidency sa the fastest growth industry was Disability beneficiary!

I’d say every 2 years.

I knew a woman in her late 30s who was on SSI because she was an alcoholic, therefore had a disease, and couldn’t work because she had to attend AA meetings.

I almost smacked her.:-)
