According to this, dictators around the world were kind, and gentle, and not repressive, and not stifling of freedom of speech until President Trump started taking on the Fake News Media, at which point the dictators around the world suddenly changed.
John McCain the United States Senator from Arizona is a man we have come to suspect in everything he does. Here is a man that is a Senior Republican in Washington, D. C. He’s been there since the 1970s. He knows the media and how it has treated presidents like Reagan and Trump in comparison to the way it treated Obama. The former they have attacked relentlessly. The later they heaped and continue to heap praise upon. With Obama nothing personal was within bounds. With Trump nothing personal is out of bounds. They rabidly attack him non-stop. This is the press environment that has McCain concerned with Trump ridiculing ‘journalists’ (as if).
Not only did McCain come to the defense of this Leftist press, he chose to do it in the most Leftist newspaper in the nation. It’s a paper that has itself published some of the most unhinged commentaries addressing what the writers thought was a serious problem with the president. To be sure, these articles do have a following, but there is a massive population base in the U. S. that thinks the paper has lost it’s way. It has jumped from one ridiculous charge against Trump to another, for about two and a half years now. Advancing freedom? Seriously? Don’t insult us Senator.
This is a Leftist’s dream newspaper. It is an enemy of the this nation in it’s current iteration. It wants to turn it into a socialist full-on communist nation. It’s propaganda leaves no doubt. It opposed vehemently the Capitalist de-regulation President Donald Trump. It loved the anti-business massive regulation President Barack Obama. And yet this is the chosen literary home of John McCain. McCain either doesn’t mind enticing people on the right to buy and read the Washington Post, or the fact that his selection and commentary are diametrically opposed to the ideals of the people he professes to represent in the U. S. Senate.
Yes Senator McCain, President Reagan did create a Freedom Award to help promote the spread of liberty around the world. I’ll take your word for the reason why. At the same time, I’ll be scratching my head, because I can see where you are going here, and heaven only knows how hard our own media fought against Liberty in Reagan’s day and today during the Trump administration. Remember the U. S. S. R., the Eastern Block and Balkan nations absorbed by it, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Panama, Lebanon, Granada, and the press that couldn’t find anything to support about any of Reagan’s actions in the day to obtain liberty for the billions who lived withing their borders, or were relieved to see the threat to their nation’s dissolve. Conservatives do. We remember your actions as well, as you opposed Reagan on various occasions. We remember how you folks did your best to talk down any actions designed to obtain freedom for these nations. Thankfully, Reagan prevailed despite you and them. And yet, here you are again joining forces with them yet again.
Senator, as you attempt to demagogue this issue, don’t think we don’t know what an absolute fraud you are.
Today’s press is not working to spread liberty in the United States, or around the world. Quite the opposite, they are trying to turn the lights of liberty off here and around the world. If I were kind to you, I’d act as if you just don’t know what you are doing here. I don’t have the slightest inclination to be kind to a man that fronts for Leftists seeking to destroy liberty in the United States, Europe, the Middle-East, Africa, Asia, and South America. You know exactly what you are doing here, and it has nothing to do with liberation, unless your idea of liberation is turning Europe and the U. S. into the 21st century’s version of the U. S. S. R. You are helping turn the lights out here and there, and we’re going to fight you tooth and nail. You can take that to the bank.
People who seek to assist those who plan to occupy and morph our nation into something more acceptable to the world’s Leftists, are not friends of freedom or our nation. They don’t seek to spread liberty anywhere. And Senator McCain, I’m talking about you. People who would shout down and insult the families of of our MIA POWs, thier advocates, and our vererans groups to give MFN status to Vietnam, are not a friend of liberty. Don’t act like we don’t know what you’ve been up to during your time in the U. S. Senate. We know full well!
People on the right, including our current incredible President Trump, do talk down our press, and for good cause. Here’s yet one more thing you have chosen to propagandize about. Well, you’re not going to fool a single Conservative, but go ahead and feed the insane Marxist/Socialist/Communist sympathizers. Do what you have done so well over the years. Just don’t think we don’t loathe you as much today as when we took a pass voting for you when you tried to seize the leadership position in our nation. We saw you as an enemy of the nation then, and we haven’t changed our mind since. Better a traitor in their ranks, than one in ours.
I find it amusing that you really wanted to go there, when it came to declaring the press is important, because it helps to be critical of things that destroy liberty. I guess you think nobody realizes that allowing Islamic terrorists into the U. S. and Europe is not supportive of liberty or freedom. I guess you haven’t noticed that our journalists and journalists around the planet are pushing the idea that anyone who objects to allowing terrorists to enter their nation unopposed is a variety of things associated with racism, xenophobia, and group think akin to the KKK. Likewise, when people break our laws to swarm the U. S., you’re right there to defend them. As our citizens are burdened to pay for their upkeep, have to put up with decaying neighborhoods they have swarmed into, and their children have to leave public schools because they are an instant minority in their own neighborhood, you champion the people destroying our nation day by day. Advancement of liberty, this is what you think constitutes that? The global media joins you in championing this. Liberty?
Senator McCain, I’m not convinced you have ever been the champion of liberty.
You have always been the champion of yourself, being maverick, when it came to supporting sound policies that would extend liberty to others.
