I don’t wanna be perceived as defending Flake in any way - but most speeches in the Senate are given when there’s almost no one in the chamber.
Gary Hart once said something to the effect that if you want to give a speech that no one will listen to, you should get elected to the US Senate.
Arizona is filled with a bunch of brain dead people to elect the likes of mclame and flake of the world.
The man is aptly named.
