Mmmm no. Don’t like TexMex....and New Mexico is pretty close to it. I like real Mexican Food. It abounds in California.

Used to be able to sleep on the Beaches in Mexico in 1996 Safely..

Used to live on La Frontera and never lock the doors.. No Mas!

30 years ago Tx was pretty much Tex Mex and I have no issues with it

Now you can get shrimp tacos in any gas station

Not sure who is winning.

Lord I miss Machacha, make my own now

I used to live in California. The so-called Mexican food sucked big time.

New Mexico has incredible Mexican food. NOTHING like Tex-Mex, and far above California. New Mexico has it faults as a state, but the Mexican food can’t be beat.

overall is the best heaven for true
authentic “Mexican” cuisine....red
or green? California wouldn’t know
a hot chili pepper from a green pepper.
I’ve lived in both states.
