New Mexico was a great (if randomly, locally, quirky ) place.

Until it was taken over by California leftist and contemporary Mexican invaders.

Santa Fe was a wonderful little town in the fifties and sixties until the New Yorkers discovered it and it became just another tourist trap.

My folks retired to Las Cruces in the late 70s. It was a nice place to retired to, then, and after Dad passed away in 1990, Mom continued to live in their home until she passed, two years ago. My sister can not wait to sell the place and retire to Pennsylvania. I don’t blame her.

Las Cruces has become an absolute shithole...just another Democrat-controlled barrio.
