To: ROCKLOBSTER
What is to stop Congress from passing a law that says nobody may be an officer under the United States unless they are a military veteran? That would prevent the current president, current vice president, most of the cabinet, and a good percentage of the House and Senate from running again would it not? Under your interpretation of the law that is.

Statutory law cannot override the Constitution.

Yeah, but they didn't did they.

I didn't write, sign or "interperet" it. I just reported it.

No, but it supersedes Maryland law regarding federal offices.

I guess you'd better get busy and generate a lawsuit, take it all the way up to the Supreme Court and have it declared un-Constitutional.
