I’m glad Bannon is no longer in the WH bc the worst, most destructive leaks stopped when he left. I’m also glad Bannon is no longer in a position to hand out WH Visitor’s Passes to the likes of Wolff. The damage Bannon did will continue to undermine the Trump presidency for some time to come.
Hopefully the tenor at Breitbart will improve as well. With Bannon at the helm, there was no toxic, unsourced gossip story about Trump’s family too nasty for Breitbart to feature. The comments sections had become an open sewer of Never-Trumpism. That’s likely to persist for a while; those posters aren’t going to just hang up their spurs overnight.
What about economic nationalism? Are you glad it’s most prominent spokesman is gone? A simple yes or no will do.
Great summary. I’m not ashamed to admit I never even knew who he was until he joined Trump’s campaign, since Rush Limbaugh has admitted the same thing. And he seemed to be a media sensation more than anything, because they like to use him as a wide brush to paint all conservatives as white supremists. Hopefully he will soon slip back into the obscurity from which he came, but not if he can help it I’m sure.
