Maybe that is because what he is. Not sure where exactly in NYC is where he is from...but he spent a lot of time on construction sites.

My Black Lab bit my thumb and I am just now stopping the bleeding. She took a tin foil container with some leftover lasagna and started to eat the foil! Getting away from her, she actually bit me.
I put her in the bathroom for a while to punish her and told my daughter to never try to take food or food containers away from her.
Now my laptop, I see, has blood spots all over it.
Need to call Cesar Millan. LOL

Ouch! Good luck. And you’ve let the Lab be the alpha. This isn’t good, and you may want to rethink this.
Wow, do not ever let your dog be the boss of you. You are the alpha. I don’t say this to be mean. I’ve had dogs my whole life and love them. I joke about them training me to give them treats, etc, but aggression? That’s a no-go zone.
Please be careful and consult someone to train (or re-train) this dog.
