I’d like to stop all the people who have no intention of assimilating, from coming here, but I don’t think most Filipinos are like that. The ones I’ve known and worked with are the most hard-working individuals I’ve ever seen. Filipinos, for the most part, have been taught through the last several generations, to have gratitude and love for America, and they make excellent citizens.

You are correct for the most part. Filipinos do not intend to make themselves dependents, and they work for their keep. Furthermore, they do not have any plan or desire to change our culture or force theirs on our country.

The information on the walls of our embassy in Manila, however, are the same as on U.S. embassy and consulate walls all over the world.
