Before Christmas we received a letter from a lawyer who, in the name of his client, ordered to stop the bells of the church of the Blessed Sacrament, said Fr Michele De Santis, the Chancellor of the Curia, so we advised the parish priest to stop them. ». Moreover, the bishop of Genoa is known to promote Islamization through the lucrative business of hospitality.
But it is not the noise that disturbs the Muslims. The church bells in Via Luigi Carlo Farini, in fact, are just five (the bell ringers teach that they need at least 8 to make a real concert) and small. However, the Holy Sacrament does not beat the hours like the others: the first notes of a religious song of Eucharistic adoration ring out.
And this is not tolerable for Muslims. Which gave a mandate to one of them to appeal.
The local newspaper writes:
We know that he is a foreigner, an Islamic, says first Joseph Defendini, one of the parishioners. And the identikit takes shape in the story of the neighborhood. A Muslim, however, who chose a Muslim lawyer too, so the Curia gave instructions that for days the bells would be played only before and after Mass.

Might as well. They’ve already silenced their balls.
Did they?
Whatever the Muslims demand you stop: do twice as often.
Do it louder.
Do it with panache.
They need to go home and pound sand
No. Numbers and math were in use long before Mohammad and his minions began murdering, looting, and burning libraries.
I’m a bleepin’ Protestant and wish I could send them enough extra bells and machinery to play the entire song.
Just because.
But minoretting that the Aloha Snackbar is now serving ham sandwiches five times a day, by someone in a most atrocious voice, is absolutely fine AND probably protected speech!
Miserable creatures
Yes, I lived in Bethlehem back when it was still majority Christian. That did not stop the Muslims from blaring their call to prayer 5 times a day, starting at the crack of dawn. Make no doubt about it: when these Muslims who are demanding that the church bells be silenced gain enough of their people, they will not hesitate to blast their call to prayer, Christians be damned.
The "Arabic" number system of positional notation was actually invented in India.
After 3 days fish and unwelcome guests stink
Islam is a war plan.
The Globalists had Qaddafi assassinated because he was successfully mitigating the migration swarm from North Africa to Italy.
Islam is a war plan.
My reply to another post on this subject applies here:
“Having spent the better part of the last 3 years living and working in the ME in a Sharia law state, I confirm that the demands of Muslims in the West are just a ruse to establish a dhimmi attitude on Western governments. The UAE government has no problem allowing western clothing (in fact I am headed to the pool as soon as I post this where there will be women in both burqas and bikinis side by side with no ill effect on either), serving alcohol in many restaurants/hotels and even allowing pork to be served/sold. As the article clearly states, it is just an alliance of Islam and liberals/progressives to attack and weaken our Judeo-Christian values. No accomodation to these idiotic demands should be our starting point.”
That being said, I just spent Xmas with my wife in Italy and one of the most beautiful things from the trip was hearing church bells upon waking and through the day instead of what the other guys do over here each day. Cheers!
Yet all Muslims yodel at the maximum volume with PA loud speakers 5 times a day for 10 minutes every stinking day of the week in their call to prayer.
This is persecution of the Church in its home country by a foreign invader.
Sometimes they blow each other up. That’s positive.
During Ramadan do they have the guys walking the streets at O-dark thirty banging drums to wake everybody up?
I’m staying in a hotel in one of the tourist districts so thank God I don’t have to hear the drums. They do have a large mosque though right next to the Catholic church here that does blast the call to prayer right at the church which you can hear during Mass even with the doors closed.
Unfortunately, "Europe" does not agree with you, and in fact wants MORE.
City noise ordinance. Neighborhood complaint. What finally was allowed was so restrictive and so limited it was not worth ringing the bell.
