Are these the same inside-the-Beltway Republican strategists who were "virtually certain" that Donald Trump would lose?
If Trump isn't polling ahead of where Obama was in October 2010 (as poorly as -20), that could be. But Trump was -13 on Rasmussen on Friday, and I think voters outside of the Beltway and the deep blue states will enjoy having a few more dollars in their pockets, despite Pelosi calling the tax cuts "crumbs".
Here’s the difference. Democrats always want to win. Republicans are happy playing second fiddle.
