Jake Tapper of CNN confessed to it. The discussion of Haiti was that Trump told legislators to take it out of legislation accepting people from several countries. Much later, in a separate discussion involving the lottery system that Obama set up where we randomly allow people to come from some African countries without background checking, President Trump asked why we're taking people from shithole countries. Those people could be terrorists or worse, and we're randomly allowing them in without scrutiny. Much different than taking in refugees from Haiti, and nothing to do with Haiti.
