The ambassador isn’t supposed to serve the President, he’s supposed to serve the country. Or am I missing something? He represents the country which elected the President. Evidently his leanings are 180 degrees out of phase with the country. He decided to go. That's fine and dandy. He'll be replaced with someone more in tune with what his country desires as demonstrated last November and presented today by our President.
