I believe the left is engaged in whipping up an assassination attempt or other “desparate” measures by earnestly telling the public via MSM channels that they are more frightened than they’ve ever been before, that historic enemy now faces the nation (Trump) and now things like this - modeling what they want people to believe “must be done” (violence).
