Norwegians settled the area where I live (Camano Island WA) over 100 years ago. Their legacy remains, including lots of blond, blue-eyed children in the local schools.
The modern ones are very well behaved. Back in the Middle Ages, folks who invited the Norwegians in usually lived to regret it (if they lived). Now you can't lure them out of Norway. Funny how times change.
