Just 502 in 2016. I wonder what the reason was? Norwegians stopped wanting to come here? (As these stupid self-selected tweets suggest). Or did US immigration policy keep them out?
My bet is on #2. Especially in obama-world where:
1. white, well educated, and productive = evil undesirables who are not wanted.
2. brown illiterate = wonder humans welcome here any time.
Actually I think Norway’s immigration policy made it easier to stay in Norway.
Only 561 the year before........maybe they're running out of people who want to come here........LOL!
A lot of Europeans no longer see any point to coming here; we were matching their unemployment and high taxes, and offering less job security and paid vacation. Really.
