Friday, Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) backed up a Washington Post report claiming President Donald Trump referred to certain nations as shithole countries in a bipartisan meeting Trump held with members of Congress on immigration policy.
Durbins remarks were made to reporters and captured by MSNBCs camera.
Durbin also criticized Trump for his use of the term chain migration because according to the Senate Minority Whip, it was offensive to African-Americans that migrated to the United States chains.

“They came in chains and were bought by DEMOCRATS!”
Maybe they came in chains, and maybe they didn’t. Guess we’d have to ask the African slave traders who sold slave. Or ask the black slave owners in America. Maybe they’d be able to give us the skinny on the “chains” story.
“In 1830 there were 3,775 free black people who owned 12,740 black slaves.
“According to historian R. Halliburton Jr.: There were approximately 319,599 free blacks in the United States in 1830. Approximately 13.7 per cent of the total black population was free. A significant number of these free blacks were the owners of slaves. The census of 1830 lists 3,775 free Negroes who owned a total of 12,760 slaves.”
What did we do with Saddams’ plastic shredders?
And they question Trumps sanity?
With a comment like this Durbin is implying that Black Americans aren’t capable of verbalizing abstractly. That they can’t conceptualize the same word being used in different context’s. One could seriously make that argument. But we all know that Durbin is lying through his teeth, like all Dems do.
Similar experience when I was a kid. Locked my bike up with a chain at a store then decided to go across the street to another store but was too lazy to do the combo to unlock the bike so I carried it across the street.
A cop saw me and questioned what I was doing. He made me unlock the chain to prove I wasn’t stealing someone’s else’s bike.
This horrific accusation by an LEO at such a young age scarred me and now because of Trump it’s all coming back...
Chains, my baby's got me locked up in chains
And the ain't the kind
that you can see
Woh, it's chains of love
got a hold on me, yeah
Chains, well I can't break away from these chains

Durbin’s “brilliance” just hammered the cabal. This this why we must get rid of chain migration. If it does not exist in the U.S., then the term never need be used again. No chain migration, no pain.
Durbin might as well have said that, for all the sense it makes.

Agree. All the more reason to end it now.
It really is frightening how dumb the, elected representatives of our country are. It’s past the point of making you mad. It’s really scary.
You’re either borderline, Forrest Gump or you really have to try to be that dumb.
Good Grief. No one alive today came to the USA in chains.
Ha—I think of all the affirmative-action favored as too often focused on the past.
The name Dick Durbin is offensive to women victims of rape.
Every time they see or hear his name it traumatizes them by reminding them of the dick that raped them.
He should apologize and change his name
I’ll bet that these guys would flat chit their pants if they heard IT guys talking about “slave” and “master” hard drives.
So the word chain can’t be used? Bogus, everything is racist to these idiots.
I personally don’t care what President Trump said, or how he said it. Someone somewhere is offended so at this point I don’t care.
