Friday, Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) backed up a Washington Post report claiming President Donald Trump referred to certain nations as “shithole countries” in a bipartisan meeting Trump held with members of Congress on immigration policy.
Durbin’s remarks were made to reporters and captured by MSNBC’s camera.
Durbin also criticized Trump for his use of the term “chain migration” because according to the Senate Minority Whip, it was offensive to African-Americans that “migrated” to the United States chains.

Durbin is painful and mostly offensive.
My first reaction is to think that Durbin is being dishonest, but I’m actually not so sure. He might actually think that’s why it’s called “chain migration”, and/or that the term really is offensive to black people. I’m sure the brave members of the GOP will relentlessly mock Senator Durbin for this stupidity. Yeah, right.
The term “climate change” is offensive to rural white crackers because they drink “white lightning.” /S

In the nineties I worked for an Israeli firm in the United States. We were on mandatory overtime and almost the entire floor was manned by blacks. Along came the Martin Luther King holiday, which they all said they’d take off. So, the PO’d director in charge of the floor went around and asked if anybody could tell him what Martin Luther King had done. Nobody could. (These guys were all hired off the welfare rolls.)
My guess is, most blacks have never given a moment’s thought about their ancestors in chains. The ones I dealt with were focused on today; not tomorrow or yesterday.

Aren’t they all dead by now? The last slave was imported to the US nearly 200 years ago. Even if they were in their teens, they’d be really old today. Way to old to be offended.
