What President Trump said is TRUE, and one can no more infer racism from it than one can from stating that 2+2=4, since racists also say that. PERIOD.
Not “racism” as Somali isn’t a race... But consider this, as some other Freeper mentioned yesterday, I believe:
Somalia consists of some 24,000 square miles with the longest unbroken coastline in Africa. (~1,880 miles) It has climate and topography somewhat similar to southern California. Hills & plateaus, some high-desert; with two permanent rivers running through, yet it has a per-capita GDP of around $435.00 US.
California, by comparison, has a per-capita GDP of around $56,375.00
Why is that? Is it the result of racism? Not likely...
Somalia is a shithole country precisely because it’s full of Somalians & run by Somalians. Not every culture is equivalent.
The Cedar-Riverside area of Minneapolis MN couldn’t be more different in climate and resources to Somalia; but it’s ALSO a shithole. Why? Because it’s full of Muslim Somalians.
Trump is right. The idiots screaming “RACISM” already figured out the calculus above, and want to make it go away by mis-labeling it. Somalian isn’t a race... Haitian isn’t a race. Yet somehow every place on earth that is controlled by Haitians also becomes a shithole as above...
“DIVERSITY IS OUR STRENGTH”... No. An elegant mathematical equation is not strengthened by superfluous numbers or error.
Given four medical diagnoses, three of which agree, and one that differs: It does not matter which is correct, NEITHER is strengthened by the existence of the other. One (or three) of them may actually effect relief of your symptoms, but diversity did not strengthen any.
Culture causes “shithole” nations, and continuing to import that culture to the US will have exactly the effect we’re witnessing already.
