Democrat Dianne Feinstein should never have released secret committee testimony to the public without authorization. Very disrespectful to committee members and possibly illegal. She blamed her poor decision on the fact she had a cold - a first!

Her staff obviously had the time to review 300 paes and redact the hell out of the testimony.
This was planned in advance.
Grassley and McConnell should remove her from the Committee.
No excuse for what she did.
IF she is NOT removed from the COmmittee,
it means that the Committee wanted the leak,
and wants future leaks, and frankly does
not care about secrecy.
I’m not a lawyer but it seems to me that what she did could constitute obstruction of justice.
But there are no consequences to her. She lies like a rug and everybody knows it and it doesn’t matter. Indict her and there might be a change.
She’s a Democrat. Nothing is illegal and Jeff Sessions makes sure that remains so.
Authorization from who? Grassley? She doesn't work for him.
How?
The blatant leaks continue and Sessions keeps twiddling his thumbs until he can find some pion that does it so not to go after his friends in Congress and do anything of substance.

,,,,,,, she wanted to tip off others involved in this illegal act to Simmons testimony so they will know how to handle any future questions that may come their way if asked to be interrogated .
The explanation I've heard is that her release of this document allows others who might be questioned in the future to tailor their answers in such a way as to minimize damage to the Rat Party in general and the Former Twelfth Lady in particular.
Just think back to impeacment.There was story after story about how BillyBob's lawyers were in regular contact with the lawyers representing Monica and others.The story was that that allowed everyone to "be on the same page" when called to answer questions.
As I said...I'm not a lawyer but stuff like that sounds pretty dicey to me....maybe even illegal.
The truth is, she in her aged condition did exactly as her staff told her too with out question.

She didn’t do anything illegal. What she did do is an ethical violation which politically could have consequences.
I happen to think the leak was a good thing. Everyone is saying it helps all the accused get their stories straight. What it also does is buy getting all the accused to have one story, they can all go down together when the DOJ finally makes its play.
So if Feinstein is the only adult on the Democrat’s side of the aisle in the Senate...
I think it’s more like witness tampering.
What she has done is outlined what future witnesses must say to keep everyone’s story the same by releasing the story the committee has heard so far.
Yup,that's a better way of saying what I tried to say in Post #12.
Witness tampering...obstruction of justice...call it what you will.But it's still a tried and true strategy of today's Rat Party.Or,better still,of today's "Swamp".
Yes. In fact, if it is not illegal and there are no consequences for what she did, why have any secret testimony? Release everything. What would be the point of secret testimony?
