California will hand over cash expropriated from hardworking taxpayers to drug dealers, provided they are black and have criminal records. Yes, Im serious:
Its all part of an effort in the Golden State to help more minorities become marijuana entrepreneurs. On New Years Day, California became the ninth state to legalize cannabis for recreational use, but officials are worried that not enough blacks will qualify for the permits needed to sell weed legally. To address this problem, Los Angeles, Oakland and other cities have created equity programs that offer no-interest loans and other perks to people who live in poor black neighborhoods and have been convicted of drug crimes.
Those unlucky enough not to be Persons of Politically Preferred Pigmentation will find it harder to get a permit to sell marijuana.
If youre a white applicant, you can improve your own chances of receiving a permit by incubating an equity [i.e., black] applicant, which means making him a 50% partner in the business or giving him floor space in your establishment, rent-free.
If this sort of tyrannical race-based lunacy sounds familiar, you could be thinking of South Africa under black rule.
The progressives who dreamed this up sold it as a way to compensate blacks, who have been disproportionately affected by the war on drugs.
Because this includes drugs laws, they are victims of the War on Drugs, and must be compensated at the expense of the law-abiding.
Coming next to California: free taxpayer money for black convicted thieves to assist them in their careers as wealth redistribution entrepreneurs.
Again we see that liberalism is not merely wrong; it is depraved.
A Washington Post article on this:
To quote Ebeneezer Scrooge—”I’ll retire to Bedlam”
That will turn out AWESOME!!
Who's in charge here...Bozo the Clown?
PeeWee Herman?
Gray Davis?????
Thanks for the link.
The headline is fake.
What about this could ever go wrong?
I absolutely need to focus more on the transcendence.
The inmates - lead by Feinstein, Harris, and Brown - are definitely running the asylum.
CA is not unique in this regard - witness my own home state of USSR-WA, where Murray, Cantwell, and Inslee (who wants to become Savior of the world by implementing a 20-cents-per-gallon carbon tax so global warming will no longer be an existential threat to humanity) rule and reign. [Yeah, it was a long sentence, but it was needed in order to describe the insanity up here.]
I am NOT associated with these people - I was gonna recommend this to Skypilot a couple weeks ago - keep forgetting to do it - so here it is for everybody who wants it. 3 guys singing - great Christian music - FWIW

I saw these guys perform at a church 15-20-25 years ago (can’t remember any closer than that) - most all the songs I heard are on this CD - that’s why I recommended it. I’ve had the CD the same length of time - bought it right after they performed for about an hour or two.
This is but one of many reasons I will never step foot inside the state of California.
The state of California obviously thinks more of black convicted drug dealers than they think of law-abiding gun owners, black or white.
What? They’re not supplying girls to help them become pimps?
Exactly.
