Miegs Field. Great analogy.

I had my first ever flight out of Palwaukee Airport and we went over the waterfront near Miegs. When I signed up for flying lessons months later, Miegs had already been shut down so I never got to land there. Pity.

Plus, wasn't Miegs Field a primo landing spot on one of those early video flying games?? Those were the days....

Yep, I remember it was one of the airports on Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.0 way back in the day.
