I lost a very good friend last year after the election. She is your typical New York liberal and was mouthing off on the Faebook page of a mutual friend.
I was civil and polite and simply said that having a college education doesn’t automatically make your smarter than a person without one.
She went off on me about how hard she worked through school and that she earned her degree blah blah blah. Off the rails. Had nothing to do with what we were originally talking about.
We haven’t spoken since. She ignores me and has basically pretended I no longer exist on the planet.
Liberals are so overly sensitive, especially when challenged. It’s why they resort to petty name calling and emotional attacks. Mentally ill. That’s all I can chalk it up to.
Yes, what you said. I could give dozens of examples, especially related to a relative who now calls me her “ex sister” and “the woman who used to be my sister” on her blog. But I have already wasted too much of my life thinking about that situation.
