This is not hard. If we needed a constitutional amendment to criminalize booze we need one to criminalize drugs on a federal basis. This stuff should always have been left to the states. That said, no federal judge is going call the law anything other than a tax (remind you of Obamacare?). So if we want to change the law have the Congress repeal it. If not, it’s still unconstitutional, but no judge will give you break. You got that? You don’t matter - you are not a member of the entitled oligarchy. They can break federal laws at will and will not be prosecuted (and I’m talking about you Killary and BillJeff). Normals on the other hand will go to jail if busted. Google up Kristian Saucier if you haven’t heard the name. OK? You do not own your body. The feds do. That’s it folks, in a nutshell.
It is amazing how totalitarian in thought many conservatives are.
Good illustration of how far we've fallen in terms of freedom as we give up rights to various "wars"; war on terrorism, war on cocaine, war on meth and now the war of the week, the war on opioids.
Seems to me if they want to talk about "miserable failures" the war on drugs and the war on poverty should be at the top of the search results.
The land of the free my big white butt. Give 'em the really good dope and let them OD and cleanse the gene pool. A free people are not protected from themselves by their government.
